For the love of traveling...
A question that many tourists face while planning a trip to Seoul, is how long should the trip last! A couple of days are obviously not enough to get a peephole glimpse of this wonderful city, let alone a wholesome experience. So, without debate, thought, and pondering, let’s simplify the answer. Your Seoul Itinerary should last at least for a week. There are so many experiences that are waiting for you, so many places, so many activities… Seoul is a complete package, and it can best be experienced in 7 days. Culturally rich, and at the same time fabulously modern, it is in its monuments during the day, and clubs during the night, that the true journey lies. Traditional clothing, dance, and music are eclectic, and the tiny tea houses in the old neighborhoods bring the same aroma to the city as old books to a new library. Take a walk around the old neighborhood to learn about intriguing legends, collect souvenirs, and experience the past. After the tile roofed houses and narrow streets, walk into the modern sector, and the impressive skyline, the shooting skyscrapers, and wide roads are an impressive contrast. Modern museums displaying art, history and culture amongst many other subjects can be toured here. Apart from these aspects of the city, there are a few more things that will make you stay for a longer amount of time. The cuisine of Korea is unique, flavoursome, innovative, and something that the people are extremely proud of. From street food to comfort, and traditional homemade to fine dining, the gastro journey that Seoul offers remains unmatchable in any other parts of Korea! Adding to this feature of their culture, are their festivals. Interesting rituals, traditional clothing, and legends and stories surround their festivals, making every event special and meaningful. A new feature that seems to put Seoul on the map of trendsetters includes health and wellness, fashion, and music. Whether it be grooving to K-Pop music, meditating with herbal tea at a temple, or enjoying a makeover and a shopping session, Seoul has much to offer, all of different genres. So, feel free to include a musical concert, a temple stay, or a massage and spa appointment to your itinerary!
Apart from just sightseeing and doing activities, there is so much more to Seoul. And to have the best vacation here, taking in a whole new culture, a week here is minimum!
